Where the experience comes from

The knowledge behind BonOS was not gathered in an office. It started in 2006, working with grain drying technology at one of the region's largest dryer manufacturers and distributors — from production, through sales, to commissioning on site. That path meant seeing the same problems from three sides: how the machine is built, what it is sold as, and what it actually does on a wet October morning.

Talking to the people who operate dryers — owners and operators, over many seasons — made one thing obvious. The gap was rarely in the machinery. It was in the dozens of small settings and habits that nobody had ever shown the operating staff, each one worth a little money, and together worth millions in a season.

That is why the company exists. Not to sell a box, but to close that gap with technology that measures, records and advises.

Twenty years of experience, a new company

Two dates matter, and they are different. The experience behind BonOS starts in 2006 — twenty years in grain drying and handling, from production through commissioning. B Automation Grain System S.R.L. itself is new: it was registered in Oradea on 6 February 2026, specifically to build, deliver and support BonOS. So when this site says twenty years, it means the experience in the room, not the age of the company. The company is young on purpose; the knowledge is not.

What we believe about automation

A complex drying and storage technology has an enormous number of fine-tuning possibilities, and every one of them influences the final state and quality of the crop. Most of them are invisible without measurement.

So we build systems that measure first, record second and only then control. An operator who can see a trend makes better decisions than one who is handed an automatic mode they do not trust. That is why many BonOS installations start in advisory mode and move to automatic control after a season — a deliberate order, and one we recommend.

And we build on open industrial standards, with documented interfaces, so the system remains serviceable by someone who did not build it. A facility lives for decades. A supplier relationship should not be the reason it cannot be maintained.

Who we work with

Our customers range from individual farms of a few hundred hectares to the largest domestic and international agricultural companies. That range demands very different solutions, and it is the reason BonOS is modular rather than a single product.

We believe in long-term partnerships, which is a claim that only means something if the supplier is still useful in year seven. In practice that means continuous development of the platform, support in the customer's own language, and a written record of what was installed and why.
