BonOS CARE — an engineer on the process, not on the road

Twenty years of experience, one connection away.

CARE is secure remote access to your own system, and the people behind it. When something behaves strangely at two in the morning in the middle of harvest, the useful response is a specialist looking at the same live data as your operator — not a service van setting off at eight.

How it works

Secure remote access and support

Remote diagnostics

A specialist sees the same live process, trends and alarm history as your operator, and can work through the fault with them on the phone.

Fault found before the season

Reviewing the logged history out of season surfaces the drift and the recurring alarms that turn into a stoppage in September.

Software maintenance

Updates, backups and restore points handled as a maintained system rather than as an emergency.

Seasonal review

After harvest, a look at what the data says: which settings cost least per tonne, which silo behaves differently, what to change before next season.

In your language

Support in Hungarian, Romanian, English and further BonOS languages — the technical conversation is hard enough without a language barrier.

Access you control

Secure, logged, revocable access. You can see when a connection was made and what was done.

What you get

  • Secure remote access to your BonOS system for diagnostics and support, with logged sessions.
  • Remote fault diagnosis during the season, working with your operator on the live process.
  • Software maintenance: updates, configuration backups and tested restore points.
  • Out-of-season review of the logged history, with a written list of what to correct before harvest.
  • A post-season report on drying and storage performance based on your own recorded data.
  • Support in the languages BonOS is delivered in.

Why it pays

The cost of a fault during harvest is almost never the repair. It is the hours the facility stands still while the harvest keeps arriving, and the decisions taken badly in the meantime. Anything that shortens the distance between the fault and a specialist who understands the process is worth more in September than the rest of the year combined.

The second value is preventive, and it is the one most facilities underuse. The data is already being logged. Reading it in February — the drive whose current has crept up all season, the silo that always warms first, the alarm that is acknowledged twenty times a week because everybody has decided it is nothing — turns next season's emergency into this winter's maintenance task.

The third is knowing whom you are talking to. BonOS is built on over twenty years of hands-on grain handling automation, and CARE is the module that puts that experience on the other end of the line. Technology is important; the partner behind it matters even more.

Typical setupCARE requires a secure network connection to the BonOS system and an access policy agreed with you: who may connect, under what conditions, and how sessions are logged. Support scope and response expectations are set out in the service agreement rather than left implicit.

Frequently asked questions

Is remote access a security risk?

Any external connection is a risk that has to be managed rather than ignored. CARE uses secure, authenticated, logged access that you can revoke, and the access policy — who, when, under what conditions — is agreed in writing with you before the connection exists.

What response time can we expect?

Response expectations belong in the service agreement, and they differ inside and outside the harvest season. We would rather agree a figure we can hold in the third week of September than quote a number that looks good on a website.

Can you fix everything remotely?

No. Software, configuration and logic faults are usually solvable remotely; a failed sensor, a burnt contactor or a mechanical blockage needs hands on site. What remote diagnosis reliably does is tell you which of the two you have, before anyone drives anywhere.

Is this the successor of the RAS pages on the old website?

Yes. RAS — remote technical support — is now BonOS CARE, with remote diagnostics, software maintenance and seasonal review in one module.
